Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington from Ohio left high school in order to move into Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut acting as Rachel's Room's main character. Her performance in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television film Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was a main character for the initial two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace left the television series in the year 2005, to take on an even more prominent role in movies, and had a role alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. In 2007, she starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and also, as the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She reprised her role in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation to the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to Shannon's character in Lost for two episodes, which included the finale of the series. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season, which aired between 2013 and 2014. The role she plays is Faith as a girl who is a muse for the stars, and draws the attention to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Part of the Gyllenhaal family, she is the daughter of film makers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs as well as the elder sibling of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager, she began to work on small roles with her father. She was also in Donnie Darko along with her twin brother. Later, she was on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received praise from critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama) and Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. She had a number of films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center. However the role she played in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her more attention with The Dark Knight (2008). As an unmarried mother in Crazy Heart (2009) she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she starred in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). Other roles she has played include the role of a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) a musician in the film Frank (2014) as well as The title role in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). In 2021 Gyllenhaal made her writing and directed debut in the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
